Grow Your Plumbing Business
Actbackground Plumbing is a referral service. It does not hire employees to do plumbing. Instead, it connects homeowners in Louisville/Jefferson County metro government and the Louisville/Jefferson County metro government area with independent contractors. If you run your own plumbing, drain clearing or sewer business, you can ask to join the network.
Homeowners come to us with real problems: burst pipes, blocked drains, backed-up sewer lines. When a request fits your service area and skills, it can be passed to you. You decide whether to take the job and what to quote.
Who We Are Looking For
We are interested in independent businesses that work in these areas:
- Emergency plumbing and pipe repair
- Drain cleaning and emergency drain clearing
- Sewer line repair and replacement
- Blocked pipe services, including camera inspection
Experience with older homes helps. Many houses here have basements, rowhouse layouts, and aging cast-iron or galvanized plumbing. Providers who understand those systems tend to give homeowners clearer answers.
What We Expect
Homeowners are often stressed when they reach out. Providers in our network are expected to:
- Hold the licenses, bonds and insurance that your state and town require
- Explain the problem and the options in plain language
- Provide a written quote before major work begins
- Pull permits when the job requires them
- Stand behind the quality of your own work
- Be honest about your availability, since it varies
Providers must not promise things they cannot deliver, such as insurance payouts or exact arrival times. Protecting the home and its future value comes first.
How to Apply
Send a short email to contact@actbackground.property. Include:
- Your business name and the services you offer
- The towns you cover
- Your license and insurance details
- A short note about the kinds of jobs you handle with the most skill
We review each request and reply by email. Joining the network may involve a referral fee arrangement, and we explain the terms before you agree to anything.
