Website Disclaimer

Last updated: October 2026

Please read this notice before you use actbackground.property. It is a general template, not legal advice.

A Referral Service, Not a Plumber

Actbackground Plumbing is a referral and marketing service. We connect homeowners with independent plumbing providers. We do not do emergency plumbing, leak repair, drain cleaning, sewer line repair or any other plumbing work. If someone works in your home, that person is an independent provider and not Actbackground Plumbing.

No Endorsement, No Warranty

Being connected with a provider does not mean we endorse that provider. We make no promise about the quality, timing, cost or results of anyone's work. We also cannot promise that a provider will be available in your area at a given time. Each provider is responsible for its own licenses, permits, insurance and conduct.

General Information Only

The content here is meant to inform. It is not professional, legal, insurance, health or financial advice. Plumbing problems differ, and what fits one house may not fit another. Talk to a qualified plumber about your own situation.

About Costs

Any cost figures on this site are typical U.S. ranges. They are not quotes. Real prices vary with the job, location, materials, time of day and how far the problem has spread. Ask the provider for a written estimate before work starts.

About Insurance

What this site says about insurance is general. We cannot tell you whether your policy covers a loss. Coverage depends on your policy and on your insurer's decision. Ask your insurer or agent about your own coverage.

Safety Comes First

Plumbing trouble can involve electrical hazards, gas appliances, hot water and dirty wastewater. Do not put yourself at risk. If you smell gas, leave the home and contact your gas utility from outside. If you think anyone's life or safety is in danger, contact local emergency services first.

How We Are Paid

Actbackground Plumbing may receive payment from providers or marketing partners when we connect them with homeowners. Our Referral Marketing Disclosure has the details.

Accuracy of the Content

We try to keep this site correct and up to date. We do not warrant that it is complete or that it has no errors.
